THE WORKSHOP
From a simple puncture repair to a new set of pivot bearings, we can do it all. With a superbly equipped workshop and highly experienced mechanics you will be leaving your beloved bike in the most capable of hands. We operate a booking in system. We care very much about your bike and want you to feel completely confident and satisfied with us; however we never suggest any un-necessary work in order to keep your costs to a minimum.
When you arrive with your bike we will check it over with you, noting anything that you require doing and if you require, we can also give you an estimate at the same time. If an estimate is given and we find extra work that needs doing during the repair we will contact you before we proceed. We will not exceed the estimate without first discussing it with you. You will need to leave us with good contact numbers to ensure that we can get the job done.
We try to do same day turn around for the least amount of inconvenience to you. Your bike needs to be with us by 10.30am on the day it is booked in. You can also drop it off the day before if that is easier.
| BASIC SAFETY SERVICE |
WHEELS / TYRES:
- Punctures Repaired.
- Check tyres For Damage & Correct Pressure.
- Securely Fixed.
- Check Rims for Excessive Wear.
STEERING:
- Check Steering Alignment.
- Adjust Headset.
- Position Brake & Gear Levers correctly (if req.).
DRIVECHAIN (Gears):
- Adjust Gears.
- Tighten Bottom Bracket (Check for wear).
- Check Chain/Cassette/Rings for Wear.
- Check Pedals & Cranks.
- Lubricate Chain + Gears.
BRAKES:
- Brakes Set Correctly.
- Brake Mechanism Lubricated.
- Cables Check. ( Replace If Necessary )
- Brake Pads Check.
- Brake Cable Inner & Outer Lubricated.
GENERAL:
- Full Nut & Bolt check.
- Pivot Joints Tightened to correct Torque Settings.
- Assessment of further work required.

This service makes sure that your bike is in road worthy condition and is recommended for the general leisure cyclist, children's cycles.

| BASIC Plus SERVICE |
Everything covered in basic service PLUS:
CLEANING:
- Thorough clean
WHEELS / TYRES:
- Tighten Cones.
- Check Bearing Wear.
- Wheels Trued.
GENERAL:
- Seat Post & Clamp Cleaned & Lubricated. |
This service is recommended every 6 - 9 months or 500 -1000 miles and is ideal for cyclists who use their bike at least once a week.
It is especially useful for mountain bikers & those carrying panniers as the forces are far greater on the wheels.
Cost:

| CARBON SERVICE |
Everything covered in basic and basic plus services PLUS:
CLEANING:
- Teflon Polish Applied to Frame

- Full Hub Strip Down & Re-Build using New Bearings & Grease.
- Wheels Trued in Pro Jig.
STEERING:
- Headset Strip Down & Re-Build using New Bearings & Grease.
DRIVECHAIN (Gears):
- New Gear Inner & Outer Cables Fitted, both Front & Rear.
- Labour Included for Replacement of Worn Parts (Parts not included).
BRAKES:
- New Brake Cables Front & Rear. |
This service is recommended every 9 - 12 months or 1000 - 1500 miles. This service is designed to considerably prolong the life of all components, by keeping them well greased and lubricated. Also to give trouble free cycling, to the regular user.

Everything covered in carbon service PLUS:
CLEANING:
- Fully De-Greased & Cleaned.
- Teflon Polish Applied to Frame.
- Frame Protectors Applied to Vulnerable Areas. (If req.).

- Bare Frame Strip Down.
- Strip Down and Re-Build of all components.
- Fully Test Ridden to take up any Cable Stretch then Re-indexed.
- Internal frame inspection.
STEERING:
- Suspension Fork Service. Full Oil change.
DRIVECHAIN (Gears):
- New Inner & Outer Shimano XTR Gear Cables Fitted.
BRAKES:
- New Inner & Outer Shimano XTR Brake Cables Fitted.
- Bleeding of Hydraulic Brakes.
FRAME:
- Pivot Points Checked, Greased & Tightened. |
Recommended every 12 months or 1500+ miles.
This service will make your bike look, feel and ride like new, and is recommended at least once a year to prolong the life of components, investigate frame integrity, check pivot points and suspension forks.

Everything covered in titanium service PLUS:

- Full Consultation on ways to improve your bikes Handling & Friction: Lubricants, Suspension Set Up, Tyre Choice & Pressures, Spoke Tension, Brake Lever Modulation, Cycling Position (saddle angle & height, stem to post length & handle bar width & type).
- TWO FREE NEW TYRES OF YOUR CHOICE, POST CONSULTATION.
STEERING:
- Headset Reamed or Chased, Faced & Balanced.
DRIVECHAIN (Gears):
- Free Hub Stripped, Cleaned & Lubricated.
- Gear Hanger Aligned with Frame.
BRAKES:
- Brake Calliper Mounts Faced & Re-Tapped.
FRAME:
- Bottom Bracket Chased, Faced & Balanced.
- Frame Alignment Checked & Straightened if req. |
This is a total 'Tune Up' of your bike; not only will this service make your bike ride & feel like new but it will go much, much further.
It will feel smoother, faster, more responsive & plusher than ever, going beyond how it felt when new.
Careful engineering work is carried out to balance every part of your frame.
Special lubricants are used to reduce friction and therefore increase velocity! At the same time maintaining the sealing & coating properties in order to increase component life span.
This service is so effective that any new bike that we buy for ourselves does not get ridden until we have completed this work.
